CANCELLATION POLICY

The Souvenirist tours are limited to a small number of participants. Our cancellation policy protects both guests and host from complications and expenses that arise due to unexpected cancellations.

  • HOLD DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON (but you can find another traveler to take your place and transfer it). If we do not register enough participants to run this tour, we will refund your deposit in full.

  • 50% of the remaining balance is due August 16, 2026. This payment is non-refundable at this point.

  • The remaining 50% of the balance is due November 15, 2026.  This portion of the full retreat amount is refundable up and including 30-days before the retreat start date.

  • Cancellations after 30-days before the retreat start date, no refunds. No exceptions.

  • Any refunds will incur a 3% processing fee.

No one plans a trip expecting to cancel it. But unexpected things can happen, so we require participants to purchase travel insurance. We cannot make exceptions for any reason including injury/illness, weather, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be issued if you fail to attend or do not finish the trip, or for arriving late or leaving early. We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance to cover your trip fees and medical expenses in the event of illness or accidents while traveling. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your initial trip reservation. We highly recommend purchasing insurance to cover your flights as well.

We reserve the right to cancel retreats in case of inadequate participant interest, in which case a full refund will be issued. Notification of cancellation will happen at least one month prior to the retreat start date. The Souvenirist cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses (airline tickets, change fees) which occur due to changes in trips or retreat cancellations.
